Marie Florence Catering is a labor of love for a chef who took a leap of faith from her 9-5 job to explore her passion of building a business where great service and great food collide.

ABOUT OUR OWNER:

Chef Vanessa Vilson (or Chef Vee) is a personal chef and caterer who’s obtained an Advanced Culinary Arts degree from Stratford University. She developed her passion for cooking from her paternal grandmother who owned a culinary school and taught cooking and pastry-making on the island of Haiti. Vanessa’s food captures the essence of her New York City upbringing and her Caribbean roots. She aims to serve the most delicious, palette-pleasing and eye-catching food, which she refers to as “love on a plate!”
